Welcome, Parents and Grandparents!
I’m Kelly Buchanan, author of Tia’s Walk with God. I’m also a wife, mom, and a full-time caregiver to my mother with Alzheimer’s.  Life is pretty crazy right now but then again, so is the world!  Especially when it comes to children.
Can’t we just let kids be kids?

Whether it’s books, events, or even cartoons, everything geared toward young kids and teens seems to push an agenda.  And it’s not a good one!  Since when is it wrong for kids to be proud of themselves, their families, and their faith?  It almost feels like we are living in an upside-down world.  Good is bad, right is wrong, and insanity has replaced common sense.

I’d love to help change that…

I decided to become an author because I saw a need for children’s books without hidden agendas or inappropriate stuff.  Call me crazy but what child or parent wants to finish a book feeling sad, guilty, or depressed?  Especially after dishing out hard-earned money for it!
As parents, we all know there is plenty of darkness out there.  As a new author, I will do my best to add a little spark of light.

Good always wins,
Kelly

What sweet joy it is for all to know that God is with us wherever we go!

Tia's Walk With God

Have you ever seen a child delight at the sight of a rainbow in the sky or a beautiful butterfly? Children instinctively know that often it’s in the simplest of moments where you can feel God’s presence the most.

Adults and children alike will find comfort and peace in this tender story about finding God in all things.

Tia has a wide eyed sense of wonder when she goes on a nature walk. Every beautiful thing she stumbles upon, curiously feels comfortable and familiar. Could it be that even though Tia is by herself, she is never truly alone?
